Dr. Cofield is the Senior Pastor of the Good Hope MBC and the founder of Hope for Families, Inc., a non-profit committed to rebuilding communities one family at a time through a comprehensive approach to addressing the basic needs of community residents in the areas of fresh food, healthcare, employment, and counseling.
He is the founder of Project Hope, a program committed to helping at-risk youth succeed through creative and innovative strategies, and The Cofield Group, a consulting organization that teaches nationally and internationally in the areas of Christian Education, Expository Preaching, Pastoral Ministries, Worship, Leadership Development and Church Revitalization.
Tori Cofield is the Lead Presenter and Founder of The Educator’s Blueprint, an educational consulting business that specializes in school turn-around and inner-city public school education.
She is a well-respected thirty-five (35) year veteran educator with 15 years as a classroom teacher as well as 20 years as a public school administrator.
Mrs. Cofield is a proud alumnus of Jack Yates Sr. High School and the University of Houston. She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Texas Southern University.
She is the founder of the Women of Hope Empowerment Group and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
She is the founder of four charter schools across the country and the Executive Director of Barbara Jordan International Preschool in Houston, Texas.
Rosa Jacobs was born in Saltillo Coahuila, Mexico. Rosa is a High School graduate and also has taken College Studies in Business. Administration (Mexico) and studied English at Houston Community College here in Texas. She has completed her (CDA) Child Development Associate certification. Rosa has also taken and completed Childcare Director courses. Rosa has been in childcare for more than 15 years and has always enjoyed working with children. When Rosa first joined the Barbara Jordan International Preschool team, she worked in the Infant Room and was later promoted to lead teacher with the 2- to 3-year-old children. After many stellar reviews and observations and because of her immense knowledge of childcare administration Rosa was promoted to Co-Director.
She now serves as the Co-Director and Spanish teacher for the 2- to 5-year-olds.
Stella Falls is a native Houstonian and grew up right here in the Third Ward area. She is a graduate from Jack Yates High School and has worked in childcare for 10 plus years. Mrs. Stella has taken childcare director’s courses and was awarded her Childcare Directors License.
When Stella joined the Barbara Jordan team, she was the lead teacher in the toddler class. While serving with the toddlers, Mrs. Stella proved that she had the head and the heart for leadership and was promoted to Lead Teacher in our 3 & 4-year-old program. Mrs. Stella ensures that all of our students get the best, by requiring the best from all instructors!
She now serves as the Assistant Director at Barbara Jordan International Preschool.
